  • Heading a Chinese Technical Sales Support organization with P&L responsibility for Telecommunication solutions like voice, broadband access and internet television Building up and managing a Regional Centre of Competence for technical sales support and offer preparation for high performance broadband switching systems in the Asia Pacific region
  • Offering, selling, provisioning and optimizing IT services like Desktop Services, Network Services, Data Centre Services, Service Desk and Onsite Service in more than 140 countries for globally operating customers

  • Contract Management

  • Negotiating globally applicable IT services contracts, defining services content, service level agreements, relevant penalties, operational processes including mechanisms for contract changes
  • Closing system provisioning contracts for big international customers under consideration of quantities and quality requirements as well as order and delivery processes
  • Adapting and optimizing existing contracts due to changes in technical or financial requirements

  • Project and Product Line Management

  • Building up and heading project management departments for big and complex R&D projects as well as planning and managing the projects with respect to content, effort, resources, time schedule and allocated budget
  • Coordinating internationally distributed R&D teams with project scopes of up to 1200 staff years and project durations of up to two years
  • Planning the yearly product releases to obtain the optimum between technology progress, customer requirements and market trends

  • Personnel Management

  • Building up and leading globally distributed multicultural teams of up to 100 staff in Australia, Brasilia, China, Germany, Finland, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and USA
  • Recruiting staff according to the requested skills and intercultural fit and organizing trainings and initiation in the headquarters
  • Defining a distinct, consistent und mutually complementing work split and setting measurable targets for the sales staff regarding revenue, profitability and sustainable customer relationships
